CONTRACT EXTENSION FOR HATAYSPOR CAPTAIN

Turkish-English right back signs on additional two more years

Hatayspor has agreed with Kamil Ahmet Corekci to extend.

New deal is signed on additional two more years (optional one+one), and since old contract vas valid till the summer 2025, Kamil Ahmet will remain faithful to Hatay for three more seasons.

On July 2021 he has moved there from Trabzonspor, in previous three years in their shirt he has recorded in total 73 caps with 04 goal assists (5,823 minutes played). 

The proof of his performances and attitude towards his obligations to team and club is fact that they have gave him captain`s armband.

Before Hatay and Trabzonspor Kamil Ahmet has wore a jerseys of Bucaspor, Kayserispor, Adana Demirspor and Eskisehirspor.

Passed football schools of FC Fulham and FC Millwall, has Turkish and English citizenships, 32 years old, play mainly as right back, but successfully can cover left back or defensive midfielder positions.

Most successful period in his career was while he was playing for Trabzonspor, with them he has two trophies, Turkish cup winner (2019-20) and national "Super Cup" winner (2020-21).

Hatay has finished previous 2023-24 in "Super Lig" on 15th league table position (41 points, 38 games), they are starting new season on 11 August vs state champion Galatasaray away.
