William Troost-Ekong has renewed his contract Udinese Calcio

William Troost-Ekong has renewed his contract with Italian "Serie A" Udinese Calcio 1896.

New contract is signed on four more seasons, till june 2023.

On summer 2018, William has joined Udinese from Turkish "Super Lig" club Bursaspor. From the start he has show his big quality, in season 2018-19 was rated as one of best league defenders (35 caps, 3067 minutes on pitch).

This season in Udine shirt he has also started to play on recognized high level and till now has in total 10 caps (900 minutes). William impressive performance (vs Torino 1:0 victory, 08th round of 2019-20 "Serie A") makes him to the team of the week in Italian 1.division.

In National "A" team he is showing his best, on last match (friendly, 13.10.2019) vs Brasil, coach of Nigeria Gernot Roht has gave a great honor to William and confided him captain armband. Also on last summer, he has made nice result in shirt of "Super Eagles" and won Bronze medal on "AFCON 2019".

In total for Nigeria "A" team he has achieved 39 caps with 02 goals scored. 

Also has 06 caps for Nigeria Olympic team, and 03 games for Netherland Youth U19 and U20.

Besides Bursa and Udine, in his career, William has wore shirts of: KAA Gent, FK Haugesund, FC Groningen, FC Dordrecht, and as youth in academies of Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham FC.

Total club stats, all competitions: 176 games, 02 assists, 08 goals.
