JOSEF WILL REMAIN IN BESIKTAS TILL END OF 2021-22

 Brazilian star has agreed extension of his existing contract with Besiktas

At this moment one of best rated players of Turkey Super Lig, Brazilian star Josef de Souza Dias, has agreed extension of his existing contract with Besiktas JK.

On September 2020 Josef has joined Besiktas on one year contract with option to extend. After his great caps in black & white shirt, club management has make a deal with player to activate that option and make a contract till end of season 2021-22.

Since he has joined Besiktas, Josef has performed amazing on most of the games, in total (league + cup) 17 caps, with 02 assists and 01 goal scored (1282 minutes on pitch). By football web-site "Instat" for these caps he is rated with very high average index of 299. His team league table position after 21 round is second, with 44 points, one point lesser then leading Fenerbahce has.

Before Besiktas, in his rich career, 31 years old defensive midfielder has worn a shirts of Vasco da Gama, FC Porto, Sao Paolo FC, Gremio, Fenerbahce SK and Al-Ahli Jedah.

Won several trophies with Portuguese giant FC Porto, state champion (2010-11 & 2011-12), cup winner (2011), Super cup winner (2012). But biggest success in his career is winning a UEFA Europa League title (FC Porto 2010-11). With Brazilian Vasco da Gama he has champions trophy in Serie B (2008-09).

Debuted for Brazilian "Selecao" on October 2014 (friendly game Brazil vs Japan 4:0). In total for "A" team he has made 03 caps. For Brazil U20 youth, he has achieved 05 caps.
