Brazilian Lucas Lima is a new member of Istanbul Basaksehir

Brazilian Lucas Pedro Alves de Lima is a new member of Istanbul Basaksehir.

29 year old left back has played in previous two seasons for Saudi Arabian Professional League club Al-Ahli Jeddah.

He has performed there on high level, with total (all competitions) 61 caps, 05 assists, 01 goal scored and 5,367 minutes on pitch.

Lucas was a member of several Brazilian clubs: ABC FC, Goias EC, Botafogo, Internacional, Parana and Inter B. He was a part of the squad that won the Campeonato Carioca 2013 and qualified with Botafogo for the Copa Libertadores 2014, after 18 years of their absent from the tournament.

Moved to Europe on summer 2015, to Portuguese club  Arouca. After great season 2015-16 in Arouca shirt Lucas has signed for French 1.Ligue club Nantes. Played there three seasons with big success (total: 117 caps, 11 assists, 04 goals, 9,783 minutes). On August 2019 signed with Al-Ahli Jedah on a 6 million euros transfer fee deal.

On this June 2021, specialized football web-site "Transfermarkt" has estimated player market value on ,a 3,500,000.00 euros.

With Istanbul Basaksehir he has signed a three years contract, or till summer 2024.

After champions title from 2019-20, previous season Basaksehir has finished on 12th table position with 48 points won. In "2020-21 UEFA Champions League", they have faced with Paris SG, Manchester United and RB Leipzig. Only success in this tough group was their home (2:1) victory vs Manchester United.
