Top transfer in Belgium "1B Pro League", Roman Neustadter, a player with great pedigree has signed with league table leader KVC Westerlo.

Contract is signed till end of this season, with a option to extend it on 2022 summer.

Born 34 years ago in Dnipropetrovsk, Soviet Union, son of Peter Neustadter, former notable football player and present football manager, also a sports official.

Roman is product of German FSV Mainz 05 football academy, play most on defensive midfielder and central defender position.

In his rich career he has wore a jersey`s of several clubs: Mainz 05, Borussia Monchengladback, FC Schalke 04, Fenerbahce SK and Dinamo Moscow. 

In total, national leagues and cup games, all teams, his stats looks impressive: 468 games, 17 assists, 32 goals, 37,190 minutes spent on pitch. In UEFA club competitions, in shirt of Schalke and Fenerbahce he has achieved 51 caps with 04 goals scored and 4,111 minutes on pitch.

Roman has from his father side a German roots, therefore he was been called in past for German "A" team. Debuted for "Die Mannschaft" on November 2012 on a friendly match vs Netherland (0:0). For Germany he has made one more cap on also friendly game (Ecuador 4:2 victory). Also for Germany U20 and U21 he has achieved 03 caps with 01 goal.

On June 2016 he has made a debut for Russian senior team, on a preparation game for UEFA Euro championship (vs Czech Republic 2:1 defeat). On Euro 2016 he has played on two group stage games (England 1:1 draw and Slovakia 1:2 defeat). Till now for Russia he has made a 13 caps with 01 scored goal.

After 20 rounds played, KVC Westerlo is on top of "1B Pro League", with 08 points more then runner-up team RWD Molenbeek.

With reinforcement like Roman is, and with huge chances for summer promotion to "Pro League", KVC Westerlo is building a team which will be able to compete on high level in Belgium 1.division.
