Youth U21 teams of Russia and Serbia have played first round game of UEFA U21 Championship Qualifications, match was held in Saransk, Russia and home team has won with 1:0 result. 

With 90 minutes spent on pitch, Serbian goalkeeper Marko Ilic performed a great game, had several amazing defenses, prevented that his team don`t lose with bigger goal difference.

Among all players Marko was best rated participant on the pitch.

This was his second cap in shirt of Serbia U21, first he has played on November 2018, Montenegro U21 vs Serbia U21 (1:0).

For National youth teams of Serbia U16, U17, U18, U19 and U21, in total Marko has for now 32 caps.

Next UEFA U21 Championship Qualifications game Serbia U21 will play against Latvia U21, match will held on 10.09.2019 in Novi Sad, Serbia.
