STEFAN MOVES TO JAPANESE TEAM MACHIDA ZELVIA

    Stefan Scepovic has a new club, Japanese J2 FC Machida Zelvia. 

    Contract is signed on 2 years, or till december 2021.

    After hard injury in Polish Jagiellonia and several months break, Japan is new destination for Serbian striker.

    In his rich career Stefan was member of many clubs: Sampdoria, Club Brugge, Partizan Belgrade, Sporting Gijon, Glasgow Celtic, Getafe, Videoton, Jagiellonia etc.

    Has several trophies so far, champion of Serbia 2012-13 (FC Partizan), champion of Scotland 2014-15 (Glasgow Celtic), champion of Hungary 2017-18 (FC Videoton). Also he has with Celtic trophy in Scottish "League Cup", season 2014-15 and with Getafe has won in "La Liga 2" play-off, season 2016-17.

    His best career season was for sure 2013-14 in Sporting Gijon shirt. In this season "La Liga 2", he has scored amazing 23 goals, ten assists, on 39 caps. Proclaimed as best league striker, chosen in best 11 squad also.

    In total Stefan has 08 caps for Serbia "A" squad and 01 scored goal. For U 21 National youth team, achieved 12 caps, with nice number of 08 goals.

    FC Machida Zelvia has finished year 2019 in J2 league on 18th table position (43 points). In 2020 with the new coach (Serbian-Austrian international Ranko Popovic) and several reinforcements will try to fight for better league position.
